Description: The 7th Annual Jerry Fickes Memorial Training Weekend is dedicated to rescue company skills. This hands-on, scenario-based program is designed to challenge students to think beyond traditional tactics and develop practical solutions to complex rescue problems. Emphasizing out-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, and effective decision-making under pressure, participants will work through realistic rescue scenarios that require communication, coordination, and adaptability. Students will build and refine critical rescue skills including advanced forcible entry, firefighter removals, vehicle stabilization, vehicle extrication, search operations, and victim removals. Through progressive, team-based evolutions, attendees will gain the confidence and experience needed to solve challenging rescue situations while operating safely and efficiently.
